Fabian Doerfler (GER) On his performance: "It's possible to go faster but we'll see how good it is if I make it to the final. I made a mistake on gate 19 which could cost me. I was nervous at the start but I recovered alright. I hope I can make the final."
Daniele Molmenti (ITA) On his performance: "It was quite good but it was a bit slow because of the wind. It took longer on an upstream gate because it is getting stronger. With some luck I might go through to the final."
Anthony Brown (AUS) On his performance: "I'm pretty happy with it. I hit gate two which is annoying. The course felt pretty good and it was a lot easier than I thought but all week I've been making small mistakes which is frustrating. I'll see what happens next but I doubt I'll go through. We never know - all it takes is one mistake."
Peter Kauzer (SLO) On missing the final: "I blew it again. It was just like my qualifying run. I had problems with the top section of the course [gate 2] and psychologically I was out of the race. I couldn't regain my focus."
On why his ran into trouble: "I don't know what happened. I haven't been myself in this competition. I was feeling good going into the semi-final but it just didn't happen on the water."
