Jaroslav Volf and Ondrej Stepanek (CZE) On reaching the final: Volf: "We're happy with the place we qualified [3rd] but we can improve the time, that was the only bad part of our run."
"Our second run will have to be better."
Marcus Becker and Stefan Henze (GER) On being penalised twice on their run: Becker: "They were stupid mistakes and we know we can do better."
On finding out they had qualified for the C2 final: Becker: "We're feeling quite scrambled, we didn't expect to make it through."
Henze: "We're in now though and the time differences are not too bad."
Becker: "We will have to concentrate on getting through the course cleanly and we will be competitive."
Phillipe Quemerais and Yann Lepennec (FRA) On posting a clear run: Lepennec: "Overall the time was good and it was good not to be penalised but we still had problems with one of the gates." "Having to recirculate to make gate 15 meant we lost some time, we can do better."
On the course: Lepennec: "The semi-final course is much more difficult but that's normal. "You really have to approach all the upstream gates well if you want to post a good time."
Timothy Baillie and Etienne Stott (GBR) On their run: Stott: "We've paddled better. I'd rate it about a seven out of ten. We had 4 penalty points."
Baillie: "I don't think it was that good. It was pretty shoddy."
Stott: "Well, I don't know if shoddy is the right word."
On the course: Stott: "The course is good, we struggled with the back end of the course in qualifying but today we managed to clear it okay. We just had more problems in the mid section."
On their performance: Stott: "It was our first semi-final competition so we managed to do okay."
Mark Bellofiore and Lachlan Milne (AUS) On their semi-final performance: Bellofiore: "We're a bit disappointed. The bottom was good but we struggled at gates 8, 9 and 10."
Milne: "We didn't execute the whole way and unfortunately that's not enough to take us to the final."
Peter and Ladislav Skantar (SVK) Ladislav on the race: "The last part was very good, but gate 13 was one problem." "Yes, we will make it. But I don't know which place."
Kay and Robby Simon (GER) Kay Simon on the race: "One gate 19 and 20 we spun out but the rest of the course was good."
"It was a race with no touches, a clean race. We spun out on gates 19 and 20 and we lost two or three seconds, but the rest of the race was good."
Robby Simon on making it to the final: "I hope to be in the final, I don't know, we'll see."
